Sharon Osbourne lost her first act of this X Factor series after Alisah Bonaobra became the sixth to leave the competition on Sunday.
Alisah was the fourth and final wildcard on the show after being voted in by the public. However, she failed to impress the viewers with her rendition of George Michael’s Praying For Time.
Judge Simon Cowell even gave her criticism for the performance for not putting her own twist on the song and not really standing out in the competition thus far.
Speaking to host Dermot O’Leary following her elimination, Alisah said: “I never thought I’d go this far, and I can’t believe I just did it. Thank you very much for all your support.”
Alisah’s elimination saw her become the first from the Girls category to be eliminated. That leaves Sharon and Simon with three acts, while Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh each have two.
Prior to the elimination, Dermot revealed that Lloyd Macey had received the most votes from the viewers for his performance of George Michael’s “A Different Corner”, making him the Sunday night champion. He faced off against Saturday’s winner Kevin Davy White in the Prize Fight.
The pair each performed once again in the top two battle and it was Lloyd who came out on top. His win means he will open for Little Mix in their sold out arena tour.
The X Factor continues next weekend at 8:10pm on ITV for the Quarterfinals.
