Amy Hart has left the Love Island villa and will not be returning.
The Sun is reporting the reality star quit the show after her break up with Curtis Pritchard and will not be returning to the villa.
ITV declined to comment on the matter but it is likely her exit will be shown in full during Tuesday’s episode. A source told The Sun that the decision to leave was Amy’s.
“It was Amy’s decision to walk from the villa as she felt she had got as much as she could from the experience,” the source said. “She fell in love, had her heart broken and couldn’t stand the thought of seeing Curtis crack on with other girls while under the same roof as her.”
In tonight’s episode Amy accused 28-year-old Maura Higgins of trying to ‘swoop in’ on Curtis after Maura enocouraged her to dump Curtis and not give him a second chance after he dumped her following her return from Casa Amor.
“She was given therapy and support by the producers at ITV and they felt she was emotionally sound enough to make her own decision,” the source said. “They would never dream of keeping someone in there if they weren’t happy about it.”
Love Island airs nightly on ITV 2 at 9:00 pm
