Alex Cannon and Andy West will face Big Brother 2016’s first fake eviction alongside Laura and Lateysha after The Others chose their latest targets.
Since entering Big Brother’s new second house The Others have been watching videos of the housemates, helping them decide who to target for this Friday’s eviction.
Last night Laura and Lateysha were both put up for the chop… or at least they think. During the launch show each housemate had to stand behind one of twelve podiums in the garden, each labelled with a different personality trait.
The Others were then asked to pick a trait to target, and they chose ‘sexy’. As she was standing behind the ‘sexy’ podium, Laura was informed she had automatically been put up for eviction, without being told how she’d been picked.
Laura was then instructed to choose one other housemate to face eviction. She picked Lateysha, “because I haven’t spoken to you as much as everybody else”.
Big Brother begun by explaining that the ‘sexy’ housemate they previously targeted was Laura, and they couldn’t pick Lateysha, whom Laura nominated.
The six then began to work out their next steps… and target: “Georgina, 100%, she’s an easy target,” suggested Ryan.
Kickboxer Andrew said they should pick the most liked housemate. “We have the ability to nominate someone, which means we can nominate someone separate to the actual opinions of the house,” he said.
“We need to choose the person most liked in the house. From what I can see, the female I believe that’s most liked is Georgina, and the male is Alex.”
Andrew confirmed that Alex was the group’s next target.
Big Brother told Alex that he had been put up for eviction, and would therefore had to nominate one other housemate to join him, with the former Judge Geordie star quickly putting Andy up for eviction.
There are still two more nominees who will face eviction, which are yet to be determined.
Laura, Lateysha, Alex and Andy are now facing ‘eviction’, however, during Friday’s live show, the Others will choose two of the nominees to leave the main house and move in to the Other house.
Channel 5 airs Big Brother nightly at 10pm.
