Big Brother is set to look very different when the show returns this summer, according to presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.
The Bit On The Side host and former housemate recently spoke to I Talk Telly and said the upcoming series will feel like a ‘brand new’ show.
“It will be a brand new show. It’s all change at Big Brother so it’ll be like starting a new job,” he said. “We’ve been ready for a while for that, and I think the public have been ready for that, so I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s reactions on launch night. This year, expect something very different.”
Fans have complained that the broadcaster has a past of empty promises when it comes to changes. However, this time it appears Channel 5 is serious about making changes after last summer’s series Big Brother: Timebomb was a ratings disaster.
Not only will the Big Brother house undergo a massive redesign in nearly 14 years, but creative director Denis O’Connor and production team member Nick Samwell-Smith have left the show.
How will this all impact the show? We will have to watch to find out!
