It has been reported that the new series of Big Brother could be launching on a Sunday for the first time ever.
The air date for BB 2017 is yet to be officially announced, however an insider claims it’s Sunday 4th June.
Big Brother has launched on Tuesday/Thursday in the last few years, so it would certainly make a change if it did indeed launch on a Sunday.
A source revealed: “Channel 5 pencilled in the 2nd to the 6th of June for the launch of Big Brother.
“Normally the show kicks off on a Tuesday which would make it June 6 but this year things are different.”
“All signs point to the show kicking off on Sunday June 4.”
A second source added: “It’s June 4.”
Channel 5 are expected to officially reveal the launch date very soon.
It was revealed last week that the new series will be a clash of cultures:
“This summer, Big Brother presents a must-watch culture clash of modern Britain.”
They added: “At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain.”
