Big Brother Australia continued on Tuesday night as the final five (well technically six) housemates remaining battled it out, resulting in one big betrayal.
The first 30 minutes of the show was so boring and pointless that I won’t even waste time recapping it. So, let’s speed ahead to Sophie feeling iffy about the pact she and Chad made with Dan and Mat. Chad refuses to believe the guys would turn on them and he continues to look so dumb in the process.

The nominations challenge saw each housemate attached to a heavy bag calibrated to 70 percent of their body weight. They must unlock three boxes with puzzle pieces and put a puzzle together while holding off the weight. Daniel wins his first solo challenge and of course, it has his face on it. Sophie is feeling the heat and rightfully so.
“We made this promise and me and Sophie have kept up our end of the deal – we’ve won the challenges and made sure they’ve been safe. We’ve done so much for them, the least they could do is not stab us in the back right now,” Chad tells Big Brother.
Daniel nominates Sarah and Sophie for eviction and Sophie is scared of going home. To be clear, she and Chad had four different chances to nominate Mat and Dan but chose not to. They only have themselves to blame at this point.
Host Sonia Kruger returned to get the eviction proceedings started. Sophie is crying because she knows it’ll be a tie and Sonia confirms this. This meant Daniel is the one who is getting blood on his hands and chose to evict Sophie, leaving her in tears.
“What are you gonna do, where are you gonna go?” Chad whispers to Sophie as they hug goodbye. Remember, Sophie is from New Zealand, and with COVID-19, she has no idea where she will be going once she leaves the house.
Mat and Daniel celebrate “one for the good guys” but something tells me Australia won’t be forgetting they did this to Sophie and ended up laughing and gloating about it.
Sophie was in tears leaving but not before Big Brother stopped her. Telling her she hasn’t been evicted, she goes down the hallway into the White Room, where she’s greeted by Kieran. She lets out a scream… and we’ll have to see what happens tomorrow night.
Big Brother continues Wednesday night at 7.30 pm on Channel 7 in Australia.
