Big Brother Australia continued on Tuesday night with Kieran making a bold move and the boys tasting power for the first time this season.
The episode began with the housemates earning their food in the shopping task. Big Brother set a series of challenges for the group in under 20 minutes. It came down to the wire but the housemates passed the task with five seconds to spare.
Kieran was up to his old tricks and told Dan he wanted Casey out next. Dan then went to Mat, Xavier, and Casey to spill the tea. This left Casey fuming and she confronted Kieran about the matter but that put her in a really bad spot with the boys as they feared Kieran would not trust them moving forward.
It was then time for the nominations challenge. The housemate were put into pairs and had to build a bridge of dominos to knock over a block on the other end of a long ramp and the first pair to do so would win. Hannah and Marissa got close on a few occasions as did Kieran. However, it would be Xavier and Dan’s time to shine as they did enough to win the challenge.
Dan and Xavier had to choose two housemates to put up and they nominated Hannah and Sophie for eviction. Casey was torn on who to vote for as she was close to Hannah and Sophie did nominate her earlier in the week. However, Dan was not having it and pretty much demanded Hannah be evicted.
Host Sonia Kruger returned to preside over the eviction with her usual grilling of the housemates. When it came time to vote, the house decided to keep the couple in the house, evicting Hannah on a 5-1 vote.
“I’m completely heartbroken,” Hannah said after her eviction. “I honestly thought I had the numbers, but you can’t trust anyone I guess. It’s obvious that Dan, Xavier, and Mat have the most influence in the house and I don’t see anyone breaking them up.”
Big Brother continues on Sunday night at 7.00 pm on Channel Seven in Australia.
