Britain’s Got Talent finalists the Missing People Choir have now achieved what they set out to do!
The charity has revealed that a 13-year-old child has been reunited with his family after seeing their performance of ‘With You’ from Ghost the Musical on Saturday’s finale.
The choir is made up of families with missing loved ones, staff and volunteers from the charity Missing People.
Whilst they performed photos of those missing were shown on the screen behind the choir.
“We are delighted to announced that a 13-year-old missing child who we appealed for on Britain’s Got Talent during the Missing People Choir’s performance saw his appeal and called his mum,” Choir co-founder Clare Cook said.
“He is now home safe and well.”
It’s also been revealed that their performances have also led to a “significant lead” in the search for the missing Tom Moore, who was 31 when he was reported missing in July 2003.
Missing People Choir has been fundraising for the charity since their first BGT audition in April and have so far raised nearly £7,000 through their JustGiving page.
The Britain’s Got Talent final was won by Tokio Myers.
