Now that Celebrity Big Brother (the Perez show) is over, it seems Celebrity Big Brother producers are taking it to the next level with a ‘UK v USA’ theme planned for the upcoming Summer Celebrity series.
It has been reported that producers are starting to use themes for Celebrity Big Brother following the successful twisted Fairy-tale theme which featured in Celebrity Big Brother 2015 earlier this year.
The number of American housemate has seen quite an increase since the show first moved to Channel 5, with many proving to be successful on the show with the likes of Gary Busey who won Celebrity Big Brother 2014.
However it seems bosses are planning to captivate the American housemates by having an American v British theme.
A show source revealed: “The reason bosses have come up with this idea is because of the impact Perez had on the January series. He was so out there and caused such mayhem that producers want to take it to the next level for the new show.
“They hope that by pitching Brits against Americans they will capitalise on our cultural differences and fireworks will ensue.”
Producers are looking for fierce and controversial housemates with the likes of model Janice Dickinson reported to have signed up.
According to sources they are trying to make Celebrity Big Brother 16 the most controversial and explosive series the show has ever seen: “They want it to be one of the most explosive series ever,” the insider continued.
