ITV’s brand new Sunday night dance show is here! Dance Dance Dance will see famous faces perform some of the most ‘iconic’ dance videos and movie sequences with a panel of judges critiquing their moves.
Former Strictly judge Alesha Dixon will co-host the show alongside Will Best.
The show “will celebrate the most iconic pop video and dance movie sequences of all time on a “truly epic scale” celebrities, together with a partner of their choice, recreate dance performances audiences will know and love.
It won’t just be dancing either, with ITV using state of the art special effects to re-enact legendary routines from Michael Jackson’s Bad and Madonna’s Vogue to Beyoncé’s Crazy in Love and Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time.
The show will launch on ITV on Sunday, January 8, with six celebrities signed up for the show, who will perform with a partner of their choice, be it a girlfriend/boyfriend, family member or friend.
Coronation Street and Wild at Heart actress Lucy Jo Hudson, TOWIE star Jessica Wright, JLS singer JB Gill, Eastenders actor Jonny Labey and Emmerdale’s Fiona Wade.
Talking about the show Alesha said: “The art of dance has always played a big part in my life so this show is the perfect fit for me. The standard of dance is very high and I can’t wait for the public to see these iconic performances brought back to life.”
Will added: “I’m so excited to be hosting Dance Dance Dance alongside the fabulous Alesha Dixon. I can’t wait to see what routines the celebs and their partners will be performing.”
