EastEnders looks to kill off one member of their case in an explosive fashion.
The BBC One show will axe one of the familiar faces as part of an up-coming storyline which will see the Walford In Bloom event go up in flames.
In scenes to be aired, they will be a gas explosion which ignites just as the mayor turns up to celebrate with the residents of Albert Square.
The Sun are reporting that as the blaze grows it appears one character will die and several others will be left with their own lives hanging in the balance.
It could be the start of Steven Beale’s exit storyline, with the actor, Aaron Sidwell, confirming his exit earlier this month.
The paper is reporting the explosion will begin the process of unravelling what Max Branning (Jake Wood) has been working on for several months.
EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
