The app is promising to “shake things up” in the dating world with Chappy a ‘gentlemanly’ companion to Grindr.
“At Chappy, we want to provide gay men with a safe, responsible and welcoming space for connecting and dating,” the website reads.

“Our Chappy community allows gay men to find something on their terms, in a way that makes them feel respected and confident.”
It’s all about being a gentleman on the app, and is titled as “responsible, progressive and cheeky”.
The duo are also hoping it will bring some better respect back into the gay dating world adding “Whether you’re looking for your Mr Right or your Mr Right Now, Chappy is here to find the ideal guy for you.”
“Bumble have really shaken up the world of dating apps”, they wrote. “Giving power back to the ladies has made some real waves and we want these effects to be felt in the gay dating community too.”
