Kristina Metcalf has decided to leave MTV’s Ex On The Beach just two episodes because she wanted to “keep her dignity”.
Kristina left the show last night, however revealed MTV had wanted to get her on the show for some time.
She said: “MTV approached me originally for series two and three, and then they came back again for series four so I thought this time I’d go for it.
“But I was only out there for a week because I ended up walking off. They weren’t my type of people on the show, everyone was sleeping with each other.
“That’s not me, I didn’t sleep with anyone or even kiss anyone on the programme, I kept my dignity.”
The beauty salon owner, from Liverpool, also says she didn’t want to embarrass her friends and family and had to think about the reputation it would give her new salon.
“I’m opening my hair and beauty salon and I’m planning to bring out my own brand range of eyelashes and false tan,”
“I didn’t want to bring shame on my city either,” she said.
“The people really weren’t nice, they weren’t the sort of people I’d usually mix with, so I only ended up on two episodes. MTV tried to persuade me to stay, but I just couldn’t do it.”
But, Kristina stated she has no regrets about quitting when she did. “If I’d have stayed it would have been like mental torture,” she explained.
“I didn’t just want to stay for the sake of being on camera, I’d rather be happy than have that airtime. That’s not important.”
Ex On The Beach airs Tuesdays, 8pm on MTV.
