Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt has been banned from taking part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, according to a new report.
The Sun revealed that her contract with Channel 4 means she can’t take part on the ITV reality show on a competing channel.

They also claim that Scarlett has also had to turn down the opportunity to become a regular on Rylan Clark’s new Channel 5 chat show Up Late With Rylan, which begins next month.
“Scarlett is one of the most sought-after names in TV right now. Producers and casting directors have cottoned on to how popular she is,” a source said today.

They revealed: “ITV have made an approach for her to go on I’m A Celeb but she isn’t allowed. It would break her exclusivity contract with C4.”
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “Scarlett is not taking part in I’m a Celebrity and will continue to entertain Gogglebox fans from her sofa.”

They added: “Scarlett was approached by [Up Late With Rylan]’s producers but turned down the offer as it conflicts with her exclusive C4 Gogglebox contract.”
It’s claimed that Scarlett would only be free to join other shows if she quit her role on Gogglebox.
Gogglebox star George Gilbey left the show in 2014 to sign up for Celebrity Big Brother, although Channel 4 eventually invited them back to the show.
I’m A Celebrity 2016 will return to ITV later this year.
