Harry Styles is reportedly being lined up to be a mentor on The X Factor 2017.
The ‘Sign Of The Times’ singer is, according to reports, in talks with Simon Cowell to return to the show which made him famous.
Whilst the judges seem set to return with Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger all back – there’s room for guest mentors as part of Judges Houses.
It would see Harry return to the format which made him a star as part of One Direction.
‘Everyone is in agreement that Harry would be a ratings winner,’ a source told the Daily Star.
‘His chart positions clearly show he is set to become the biggest solo star from One Direction. Not only does he seem to be a clear fans’ favourite he’s also being hailed by music critics as well.’
Harry is the golden boy from One Direction, after his debut album hit the number one spot across the world.
However, we could still see the boys return… With the door open for any of the members to perform solo material on the live shows.
An X Factor spokesman has said: ‘It is far too early to be speculating over live shows or Judges’ Houses when we haven’t even begun the judges’ auditions as yet.’
The X Factor returns to ITV in the autumn.
