It was an eventful X Factor live episode tonight, with Honey G’s stage being invaded during her performance.
As she wrapped up her performance for Louis Loves week, the singer was joined on stage by at least two unknown faces, with one trying to grab the microphone off Honey G herself.
Fans took to Twitter quickly to question whether the stage invasion was staged, or who or what happened.
As Louis Walsh began to deliver his criticism, the stage invader jumped on to grab Honey.
Simon Cowell ran forward as the invader was quickly removed, whilst Nicole Scherzinger looked stunned as she said: “Someone’s about to get a Honey G butt-whooping.”
However, we’ve quickly been able to get to the bottom of the debacle, with a pretty clear answer.
Yes, full time pranksters Trollstation were behind the invasion, with one member unveiled as Daniel Jarvis after posting a Facebook video from Fountain Studios, where The X Factor is recorded… and here’s the video to prove it!

Many fans quickly questioning the moment that happened live on ITV, with some suspecting it was fixed by producers to try to keep Honey G on the show.
One fan tweeted ‘Well that was clearly fixed #xfactor’, whilst another added ‘FAKE FACTOR THE GUY WHO RAN UP IN STAGE WAS PROMOTED BY THEIR CREW WHAT A FIX LOL

Do you think the producers were in on the prank, or was it a surprise to everyone?
