Former X Factor contestant Honey G has ‘turned down a lot of money’ to do Celebrity Big Brother, the wannabe rapper has claimed.
The rapper said she wants to be taken seriously as a ‘credible’ artist and decided to turn down Channel 5’s offer to do the show.
Speaking to The Sun, Honey G said: “I got offered a lot of money to do Celebrity Big Brother but I turned it down.
“I’m not interested in doing reality shows. That’s not what I want to do. I want to put out credible music.”
Last year, Honey G, whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford, insisted she is not a flop and would be coming out with a new song in the future. However, no album nor song has since been produced.
How can I be a flop when I’m the only X Factor finalist to have the most gigs out of all of them since X Factor 2016 finished?,” Honey G claimed.
She went on: “Most of my gigs have been so packed there have been barriers at the front so I don’t get rushed by the screaming crowds. And of course, I don’t go anywhere without my own personal security.”
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 in the new year.
