ITV2’s Ibiza Weekender is returning for an extended sixth series after the channel recommissioned the show after becoming hit online.
The show sees teenage Brits visiting the party capital of the world for a weekend, whilst cameras follow their fun, flirtatious and often wild adventures.
The Weekender focuses on the comings and goings at a single hotel. From check-in to check out, the series also follows the fortunes of new groups of guests as they soak up the sun, look for romance and plunge into the island way of life.
Set against the backdrop of Europe’s biggest party island, expect high jinks, outrageous nights out and dramas around the clock.
Fan favourite Jordan Davies previously admitted he “regrets” quitting Ibiza Weekender to focus on his relationship with ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna.
The star recently tweeted he’ll be back on the show, posting “Glad to announce.
#IbizaWeekender IS BACK AGAIN If you wanna go Ibiza & be on telly then get applying!”.
He’s also just been announced as a returnee for MTV’s Ex On The Beach, too.
Satmohan Panesar, ITV Commissioning Executive, said: “For young Brits looking for a holiday abroad, you can’t beat Ibiza, and for ITV2 viewers looking for a show packed full of fun, laughs and cheeky drama you can’t beat Ibiza Weekender.”
Gyles Neville, Executive Producer, added: “It’s great to be back with the Weekender brand for an extended summer of fun.
Not only is the rig setup perfect for unearthing those true seminal holiday moments but also for revealing the humour and lightness of great characters as we welcome back some familiar faces along with some new ones too.”
The new series of Ibiza Weekender will air in 2017.
