Another name has been thrown into the ring to be taking part in the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2016.
Michael Jackson’s former doctor Conrad Murray is reportedly in talks to take part in the jungle reality show.
The doctor was sentenced to four years in jail after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter over Jackson’s death in 2009 and many fans of the singer blame him for their idols death.
According to reports, he’s keen to “rebuild his reputation”, now he’s out of prison.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “He really believes he can rebuild his reputation after the controversy of the past few years.
“Becoming a practising doctor again is very much part of that plan.”
His publicist Max Markson confirmed the reports to the tabloid according to the article, with the paper quoting him as saying: “It is true. We are talking to the show’s producers about having Conrad in the jungle for the next show.
“I’m sure everyone will be fascinated to hear what Conrad has to say about his time with Michael.
“He’s a doctor, very calm and great with people and he has some extraordinary stories to tell. He’d be a great draw and I’m sure he’d be a fascinating guest for the show.”
No names are currently confirmed for the new series.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV this autumn.
