ITV have announced the confirmed line-up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, featuring Amir Khan and Rebekah Vardy.
Ahead of the shows launch on Sunday, the show has revealed the official names taking part from day 1.
Take a look at the full line up below…
Most famous for: Playing Fiz in Coronation Street
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: None but it will be different for viewers seeing me as Jennie and not Fiz.
‘I had to really think about this because the biggest thing is leaving my little boy,” she explains.
‘Even the thought of it beforehand made me shudder. It’s going to be his birthday whilst I am in the Jungle and I spend all my time with him when I am not working on Corrie.
‘Leaving Albert when I first go into the camp will be my trial… It really will.’
Most famous for: Retired footballer
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: Everyone thinks of me as a fiery character and so I am sure they will wonder how I will cope.
‘Some of my friends will think I am very mad doing this. They will get enjoyment out of it. John Franco and Vinnie Jones – I am sure they will have some fun on this! They will probably vote for me to do the trials knowing them!’
Most famous for: Footballer’s wife
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: I think everyone thinks of me as a Wag who never gets her hands dirty. It will be nice to show a different side.
‘I am so excited but I’ve also been waking up in the middle of the night sweating and having
nightmares about bugs crawling around my feet, this is such an amazing thing to do and I am really looking forward to it.’
Most famous for: YouTube Vlogger
‘We are the most famous people you’ve never heard of…’ Jack says. ‘One of the main reasons I am definitely doing it is to be the first YouTuber to go on a show that is so massive in this country.
‘That is quite amazing. You can’t get anything more high profile than this and it’s going to lead to so many other great opportunities. I can’t wait to find out what!’
Most famous for: Comedian
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: I worry people think I am too serious but I’m really not.
‘I don’t know how I am going to cope without tea,’ Shappi says.
‘I drink it all day. Tea is my life. I am okay with food and I’ve actually become a vegan over the last few months as I thought that would help me eat really simply in the Jungle.’
Most famous for: Boxing
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: People only ever see me in the boxing ring. It will be nice to show people what I am like away from it.
‘I am one guy who hates spiders,’ Amir admits. ‘Whenever I see a spider at home, I get my sister to move it. I just don’t deal with it.
‘I hope I don’t come across any of them when I am in the Jungle but I know I am going to. Will I scream? Yes definitely but maybe this is the time where I face my phobias! I also hate snakes and heights too.’
Most famous for: Author and ex-politician aka Boris Johnson’s dad.
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: I don’t have any conceptions about myself as I don’t think I am famous at all and that’s rather a relief!
‘I am very much looking forward to it,” says Stanley. ‘I love Australia and I’ve done lots of different
things in my life but I would say that I have not lived in a Jungle before.’
Most famous for: Popstar from The Saturdays
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: I’ve never really put myself out there so this is the first time people will get to see what I am really like which is a scary thought…
‘I’d actually been thinking about going travelling and doing something on my own,’ Vanessa says. ‘I was going to go on a yoga retreat.
‘I’d always wanted to do this show but I didn’t think it was going to be right now.’
Most famous for: Hollyoaks actor
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: Everyone just knows me as this fictional character. I’ve always been a private person up until now.
‘I was actually asked about this years ago but it wasn’t the right stage in my life,’ Jamie explains. ‘But it’s been a good year with work and I really did feel now was the right time to branch out.
‘I have finished on Hollyoaks now. I had to make a decision – whether to sign or take the gamble. The gamble was I wanted to do this. And I felt it came at the right time. And it has paid off because I am doing it.’
Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo
Most famous for: Made In Chelsea star
Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: I think people reckon I am prim and proper.
‘I call her at least 20 times a day,’ Georgia admits. ‘When I look at my call log, her number is always on there. I phone her for advice on everything. I am really going to miss that.’
