BritBox has already made its debut in the US and Canada, now it is officially coming to the UK at this end of the year.
The streaming service will feature content such as soaps EastEnders and Coronation Street as well as archived shows like Doctor Who. Pricing starts at £5.99 per month in HD and across multiple screens and devices.

“The agreement to launch BritBox is a milestone moment,” said Carolyn McCall, CEO of ITV. “Subscription video on demand is increasingly popular with consumers who love being able to watch what they want when they want to watch it.”
BritBox will be the home to view shows aired on both ITV and BBC, including reality dating show Love Island. Other shows include Broadchurch, Les Miserables, The Office and Benidorm.
Along with your favourite shows, BritBox is also commissioning original content exclusively for BritBox. Think of it as Netflix original programming for fans who buy a subscription to the service.
“ITV and BBC have made, and continue to make, the programmes that both reflect and shape British culture and creativity,” McCall said. “We now look forward to working together to launch the largest collection of British boxsets ever – bringing the very best in past, present and future British programming and award-winning content to viewers all in one place.”
