X Factor star Jake Quickenden has been named the winner of Dancing On Ice 2018, defeating Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent in Sunday’s final.
Max Evans and his pro skater Ale Izquierdo was eliminated in third place earlier in the night. All three contestants performed a showcase skate before showcasing their favourite skate of the series.
Judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo did not score either routine but did offer their comments.
Following all three routines, hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield returned with the results. They revealed Max had finished in third place. Jake and Brooke performed one more time for the viewers before lines closed for the final time.
Phillip and Holly then revealed that Jake and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer had gotten the most votes and had won the show.
“I can’t get my head around it! I might not have to do any more reality shows now,” Jake said following the win.
Of his partner Vanessa, Jake said: “Brooke is incredible as well she deserves to be proud of herself. She is unbelievable.”
Jake then took to Twitter, thanking his fans

Dancing On Ice will return for another series next year on ITV.
