Turns out that the new track released on Friday with Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and MØ is doing quite well in the charts globally. With Ed Sheeran and Diplo helping write the track it’s really no surprise that it is achieving such success, after all, anything Sheeran and Bieber touch seems to turn to gold.
Diplo said: “I had been trying to link with Benny Blanco and Ed Sheeran for years to find the right song we could all work on together and the moment I heard this one, I knew that it was the one.
“The timing was perfect and when we approached Justin, he was also in love with the song we all had written.
“I thought it would be interesting to incorporate another vocal and seeing she’s family, I reached out to Mø and we decided to try our best to make something fresh and interesting as Major Lazer.”
Justin has recently made headlines after upsetting his own fans, most recently rejected a fan for a hug. He also over the past few months slowly given several kicks to his own fans. In May he announced that he would no longer be posing for photographs, and previously he cancelled all his meet and greets after claiming they left him feeling “mentally exhausted”.
Unfortunately for his fans, many were unable to secure the $2,000 refund as it would mean sacrificing their ticket to his show.
The single ‘Company’ is lifted from Justin’s album ‘Purpose’ which is out now. The Purpose Tour is coming to the UK this Autumn.
