Kayleigh Morris was removed from the Big Brother house following an explosive confrontation with fellow housemate Chanelle McCleary, where she threatened to ‘smash her face in’ with a sharp object.
Earlier on Saturday, Channel 5 released the news that the former Ex On The Beach star was removed for “threats of actual violence”.
In Saturday night’s highlights show, fans got to see what led to her exit. Things were already brewing during a task when fellow housemate Lotan smashed a water balloon over Kayleigh’s head, leading to a verbal confrontation.
However, things reached boiling point later that evening when Chanelle talked with Ellie Young about how to stand out more in the house. Things turned ugly when Chanelle raised her voice to Kayleigh, knocking over a water glass.
“Get her the f*** out of here before I smash her face in,” Kayleigh said. “I would grab a sharp object and smash her face with it.”
As things escalated, the pair had to be separated by their fellow housemates as Big Brother announced for Kayleigh to go into the Diary Room and Chanelle to the bedroom.
Once in the Diary Room, Kayleigh went off on a rant, not taking back her words – then confirming she had meant what she said.
“I’m going to f**king hurt her ten times harder than she’ll hurt me. She’s six times the size of me, f**king fat c**t. “Do you know how much I wanted to pick up a chair and smash it across her f**king face?”
Chanelle was given a second and final formal warning by Big Brother, meanwhile Kayleigh’s behaviour was so unacceptable – she was removed from the house immediately.
With Kayleigh’s removal, the show has lost three housemates in a 24 hour period. Overall, five housemates have gone in just 12 days. At the end of Friday night’s eviction show, Emma Willis had mentioned ‘new faces’ coming into the house.
Let’s hope their stay is permeant with how quickly people are getting chucked out.
Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
