Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam became the second celebrity to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother USA house on Monday, following an emotional plea to her houseguests.
After Head of Household Ross Mathews nominated Keisha and Omarosa, it was time for the live Power of Veto competition. Marissa Jaret Winokur won the PoV, beating Omarosa. However, she elected to not use the veto, leaving Ross’ nominations in tact.
During her plea to her houseguests, Keisha begged them to vote her out.
“I really wanted to compete and be here with you all,” she said. “The truth of the matter is my breast milk continues to deplete since I’ve been here.”
The result was a unanimous 7-0 decision to evict the former “Cosby Show” star. An emotional Keisha spoke with host Julie Chen following her exit, saying she knew it was the right decision.
“I definitely came into this game to play,” she said. “However, $250,000 or any amount of money is not worth my baby.”
Keisha’s eviction basically meant that Ross’ HoH was meaningless. His target of Omarosa stayed in the house and his backdoor plan to send Shannon out did not happen.
Celebrity Big Brother continues on Wednesday night at 8/7c with the next Head of Household competition and nominations.
