Laura Whitmore has impressed viewers and ITV so much, she looks like she’ll stick around as host of Love Island.
The Sun is reporting the presenter is set to sign a £1million deal for the next two series, which are the usual summer run and the winter-run next year.

“Laura was an instant hit on Love Island, and when the winter series wrapped, the producers knew straight away they wanted her back,” a source told the tabloid. “The package is worth £1million, which includes Laura’s salary and expenses for both the summer series of Love Island this year and the winter series next year.”
The news comes following the tragic death of former host Caroline Flack, who stepped down from the show late last year following her arrest. She was said to be at “rock bottom” before taking her own life last month. The final of Love Island was dedicated to Flack and the source says ITV was happy with the way Whitmore handled the job at such a difficult time for everyone involved with the show.
“She has handled everything with professionalism and grace, and at times really held things together. There is no one else they want to take on this role and Laura’s team know that so they have made sure the package is very generous.”
Love Island returns to ITV later this summer.
