X Factor winner Leona Lewis and last year’s Voice UK winner Mo Adeniran will join coach Jennifer Hudson as guest mentors in the knockout stages, ITV has confirmed.
Like J-Hud, Leona Lewis is no stranger to going through the grind of singing competitions. She won The X Factor back in 2006 and her debut album titled Twilight was a hit around the world.
Speaking about Leona, Jennifer said: “I’m so excited that Leona is joining me as a mentor on Team JHud! I can’t wait to hear what wonderful advice she has for each act. She is incredibly talented and I really trust and respect her opinion.”
Also joining Jennifer is reigning Voice UK champion Mo Adeniran. He knows first hand about J-Hud’s coaching and what it takes to win it all. He is currently working on his debut album.
“I’m so excited to be back with my Voice family and Team JHud where it all began,” Mo said. “I’ve been working hard in the studio for the last 6 months and I hope I can pass on some of the things I’ve learned whilst making my album to the talented singers on Jennifer’s team. I definitely think she’s got another winner!”
Mo and Leona join Kylie Minogue, Craig David, and The Black Eyed Peas as guest mentors for Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, and will.i.am. respectively.
The Voice UK continues Saturday with the first part of the Battle Rounds at 8.30pm on ITV.
