After 12 tough weeks and cutthroat tasks, Lord Sugar’s search for his next business partner is finally complete.
Sunday’s grand final saw Camilla Ainsworth and Sian Gabbidon battle it out to win the life-changing 50-50 partnership with the business mogul along with his £250,000 investment.
The ladies had to launch their respective businesses in front of Lord Sugar and industry experts. They were not alone as the fired candidates returned to help them in the final task. Camilla presented her nut milk dairy-free drink called “milk it” while Sian showed off her premium swimwear.
After getting feedback on both presentations from the experts, Lord Sugar called both back to the boardroom for his decision. He appeared really undecided as the ladies gave their final pleas why they should be hired. So Lord Sugar spoke to his advisers Karren Brady and Claude Littner.
Lord Sugar gave his final decision: “Camilla, I find you a big risk but having said that there is a growing market here. “Sian, you work in a crowded market, that is a big concern but you are an expert in your field and you are a good designer, there’s no question of that.”
He continued: “It’s very tough for me to make a decision but on reflection, Sian, you have a great aptitude and a talent for design… you’re going to be my business partner.”
“I want to be respected and look good but I’m still young and I’m fashionable,” Sian said in an interview with The Sun. “That’s what my brand’s about.”
The Apprentice returns to BBC One next year for another series as well as a rumoured celebrity run planned for spring.
