It looks like Lady Gaga and Metallica are set to perform together again after their duet at The Grammys 2017.
Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has leaked details of plans for the Joanne singer to team up with the rock band for a new record.
The bandmate has revealed on Twitter plans for the singer to record vocals for an album planned for release in early 2019.
When asked about the possibility of a collaboration on their new album – set to be called The White Album, he replied ‘Gaga is gonna kill em all in the studio when she sings for us’,
The reply was swiftly deleted, however the news was already out there, with rumours already swirling that the Bad Romance singer and rock band were working together.
Drummer, Lars Ulrich said after THAT Grammys performance: ‘[She is the] quintessential perfect fifth member of this band. Her voice, her attitude, her outlook on everything is so awesome.
‘[The performance] was so effortless and organic and she just has the spirit of hard rock and metal flowing through her veins.’
He continued: ‘It comes really easy for her. There’s nothing contrived; she just has this super warm, easy energy.
‘We already started fast-forwarding to the next chapter when we can do more of this. It’s not one of those
“20 lawyers, strategists and managers trying to force two people from two different worlds to figure out how to spend four minutes together on a national telecast”.
