Mo Adeniran has been announced as the winner of The Voice UK 2017.
The star beat Tom Jones’ act Into The Arc to be crowned champion in a final which saw Jamie Miller come in third place in the live final on ITV.
Mo was the bookies favourite to win the show, with odds suggesting the singer would take the title in the final.
Mo’s final performance will be released tonight, with his Winners EP released in coming weeks after it was announced there will not be an official winners single.
This year’s series will not have an official winner’s single, instead, they will immediately begin working on an EP, to be released a matter of weeks after Sunday’s final.
ITV will also be airing a ‘Winner’s Story’ special, broadcast around the same time the EP is made available to purchase.
In the past, acts have struggled to make any success off the back of the series.
The Voice UK returns to ITV next year, with The Voice UK Kids airing later in the year.
