After David’s previous proposal went wrong, Aaron decides to give it a go… but in true Neighbours style it doesn’t all go to plan as David reveals that he was planning to propose too.

So the proposal becomes a double proposal, and acceptance… which fingers crossed will become Neighbours’ first ever gay wedding.
And things don’t get any simpler when the boys return to Ramsay Street, as Aaron’s brother Mark causes trouble by innocently asking when the wedding will be.

It becomes obvious that Aaron wanted the ceremony to happen as soon as possible but it turns out that David would much rather take his time.
As Aaron tries to hide his disappointment, will the boys ever make it to the aisle?

Speaking to Digital Spy Takaya Honda, who plays David, previous revealed (about the promise of a gay wedding): “Whether that’s a David and Aaron wedding, or whether it’s somebody else, I’m really hoping Neighbours gets the opportunity.
“Neighbours have worked really hard to ensure they reflect the wider community so I think it’s a really important step. Hopefully we get to do it soon!”
Neighbours airs weekdays 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
