Neighbours fan favourite Lilly Van Der Meer has left Ramsay Street, sharing an emotional message on Instagram thanking her cast and crew.
Lilly filmed her final scenes a few months ago bowing out of the soap as Xanthe Canning.
After playing the role for the last three years fans watched Xanthe say goodbye to Ramsay Street to study medicine in Toowoomba, Queensland.
Writing on Instagram, the actor wrote: “WOW, I don’t even know where to begin.
“Every day for the past three years, I’ve been lucky enough to walk into work and make art. To work alongside the most hard-working crew in the business.
“I want to thank all the crew, cast, producers, directors, MAKEUP & COSTUME departments and all of the amazing people I get to call family.”
Lilly added she “will cherish this amazing adventure forever” and thanked the fans who have supported her on the show.
“I want to say THANK YOU TO YOU, for watching every damn night. For falling in love with my character and for all your amazing support with storylines.
“I’m so grateful, my heart is so full and I LOVE YOU. Thank you.”
Lilly has relocated to America following her exit, with hopes she’ll make it big in the USA.
