Neighbours is about to lose another two characters, but this time hopefully with a happier ending.
Imogen Willis and Daniel Robinson are going to bow out in heartwarming scenes, set to air next week.
The duo, who are both recovering from the aftermath of the Lassiters Hotel explosion, will finally have something to celebrate when they tie the knot.
Imogen (Ariel Kaplan) has faced a devastating time after the loss of her twin brother Josh and grandfather Doug, whilst boyfriend Daniel (Tim Phillipps) was nearly crushed inside the hotel, only saved after Josh decided to save Andrew’s life.
However, things will start to look up when Imogen receives a job offer from Naomi Canning in Los Angeles and Daniel hatches a plan for them to get married so they can both live out in the States together.
The couple then plan to have a low-key registry office marriage, but the Willises are tipped off when a flower delivery arrives and gives the game away.
In the end, the pair are convinced to have a happy ceremony at home with family and friends instead.
Thankfully, the ceremony goes off without a hitch and the newlyweds are surrounded by family and friends as they exit to start a new life.
But when Imogen’s mum Terese is tempted to hit the bottle again as soon as her daughter is gone, could this put her back on a rocky road?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, April 26 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
