Fans of the Netflix smash hit Stranger Things won’t have to wait too much longer to return to the small town of Hawkins.
The streaming service has confirmed the third season of the hit show will return in the new year as well as released the titles of the episodes of the upcoming season.

Once again, there will be just eight episodes in the third installment. That is one fewer than season two but on pace with the very first season. The eight episodes are titled: “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt.”
Netflix released a teaser trailer early Monday morning and it also revealed a tagline: “In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues.” – does this suggest the upcoming season will take place during summertime in Hawkins?
Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, recently shut down rumours that the show is ending after season three. During The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she was asked about the photo of her tearing up after filming the most recent season.
“Of the season, not the show,” she said. “The season.”
“Watch Netflix, like, call me after this and be like, ‘You can’t say anything’ and I’m like ‘OK, got it.”
The first two seasons of Stranger Things is currently available on Netflix.
