Things may not be ‘strange’ in Hawkins for much longer, it seems.
Stranger Things makes its return to Netflix in October and has already been renewed for a third season before a single episode from its second run has even aired. However, despite its success, the show may end after season four.
Brothers Matt and Ross Duffer told New York Magazine they are already planning for the end of the popular Netflix show.
“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross Duffer said.
The second season of the show will be ‘bigger’ than before and has been gaining hype with the Comic-Con trailer and second trailer for the upcoming season. The third season of the show is already being worked on.
“We just have to keep adjusting the story. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year,” Matt Duffer added.
Stranger Things has gotten 18 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
Stranger Things returns to Netflix for Season 2 on October 27.
