The series ended its run on TeenNick last year that had many fans wondering if the long-running series was gone for good. Just days after the cancellation, a deal with Netflix and Canada’s Family Channel was reached.
This will be the sixteenth season of the teen show and has been ‘going there’ on controversial issues since season one back in the 1980’s. The upcoming season will see the show tackle issues involving homophobia, racism, substance abuse, body issues and heartbreak.
