Nicole Scherzinger has verbally agreed to return to The X Factor judging panel for another series, it is being reported.
According to The Sun, the singer met with show boss Simon Cowell over the weekend and told him she will be returning to her seat at the judges desk for the singing competition.
“Nicole is so highly thought off by X Factor that there was always the intention to tie her down for another year,” a source told the tabloid. “Once she heard other names being mentioned, she was keen to get her deal locked down and it’s now there to sign.”
The news comes after rumours flew around that the show was looking to replace the Pussycat Doll with U.S. superstar singer Moriah Carey after her stint on American Idol.
Nicole has yet to sign a contract to return, but it looks like she will return with Cowell along side Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.
The X Factor returns to ITV in the autumn.
