Justin Bieber and Rihanna have been confirmed to headline this summer’s V Festival.
The big event, held on two sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, revealed the first acts gracing its line-up on Monday morning with more names to be confirmed.
The two Americans will be joined by Sia, David Guetta, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, Faithless, Jess Glynne, Jake Bugg, Troy Sivan, Little Mix, Years & Years, Tinie Tempah, Rita Ora, Sigma, John Newman, Fleur East, Foxes and Lethal Bizzle.
Craig David’s TS5 will be making an appearance, as will Soul II Soul, James Morrison, Travis, Katy B, Example and the newly reunited All Saints.
There will also be a BBC Radio 1 Summer of Dance stage on Friday 19 August.
More acts will be announced after the Brit Awards at 10pm on Wednesday with tickets on sale this Friday.
This will be Rihanna’s only UK festival performance of the year. The singer had to postpone the start of her Anti world tour, with dates at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium affected and pulled out of the Grammy Awards because of illness.
Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday 26 February for the event, with tickets costing £189 plus booking fee for a weekend with camping, or £165 plus booking fee for a weekend without camping.
Day tickets are also available for £89 plus booking fee.
V Festival takes over summer in Hylands Park, Essex, and Weston Park in Staffordshire on 20 and 21 August.
