Gogglebox Scarlett Moffatt have revealed she turned down an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing with the star is more than happy with her current gig.
The 25-year-old revealed that being paid to watch telly is the “best and easiest job in the world”, and has no plans to get her dancing shoes out.
It was rumoured she would follow in the footsteps of fellow cast member George Gilbey, who had to leave the show after he signed up for Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.
However, Scarlett revealed it won’t be the cast. “I was asked to do Strictly Come Dancing which was pretty cool but I love Gogglebox too much,” Scarlett told The Daily Star on Sunday.
“It’s the best and easiest job in the world to sit and watch telly. I would have had to choose between the two and it was a no brainer for me.”
Scarlett could of been a safe bet to win the dancing show however, also revealing: “I’m basically a ringer, as I’ve danced against some of the professionals in competitions when I was younger,”.
“I wouldn’t leave Gogglebox for any show but if I could do one and stay on it I would choose the jungle,” she added.
“I think it would be really cool to do the challenges and face your fears.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC in the autumn.
