Scream Queens has officially been canceled after two seasons, Fox confirmed on Monday morning ahead of their network upfront presentation.
The news of the cancellation comes as little surprise after the show struggled in the ratings for both of their seasons. The final season averaged just 1.38 million viewers and had a 0.5 in the 18-49 demo rating.

“It feels as if it was a complete series,” said Fox chair Gary Newman. “We have no plans to go back and tell more stories there. We won’t be seeing Scream Queens this season.”
Signs were pointing towards the show getting the axe after stars Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, and Lea Michelle quickly signed on to other projects.
Scream Queens joined Sleepy Hollow and Rosewood in the axed category from Fox.
