Take Me Out will air two very special episodes in 2017, with a host of single stars braving the legendary Love Lift on ITV.
Matchmaker Paddy McGuinness will play cupid for TOWIE’s James Argent (Arg), former rugby international and model Thom Evans, Five’s Ritchie Neville, Capital FM DJ and The Xtra Factor’s Roman Kemp, KISS Breakfast host Melvin Odoom and Olympian gymnast Nile Wilson.
Paddy will be waiting for each celebrity to exit the Love Lift, ready to introduce the star singletons to 30 girls, all returning from the previous eight series of Take Me Out.
The ‘Flirty Thirty’ will be hoping to leave their lights on but ITV viewers will need to tune in to see who will impress the ladies enough to get a date or witness who might walk off to the infamous strains of ‘All By Myself.’
Arg commented: “I had a really great time and experience filming Take Me Out and meeting all the lovely ladies!”
Ritchie said: “It was kind of the right place, right time to let Paddy have a go at match making for me.
It’s only getting a grilling from 30 women, revealing secrets about yourself that you’ve never revealed before and potentially going on a first date, all in front of the great British public. What could possibly go wrong?”
Thom added: “As a fan of the show and having worked with Paddy briefly before, it was a pleasure to be invited onto the show for the Celebrity Special.
I have a new found respect for guys facing that dreaded lift!”
The first Take Me Out Celebrity Special will feature Thom Evans, Roman Kemp and Ritchie Neville.
The second special will feature James Argent, Melvin Odoom and Nile Wilson.
Take Me Out’s Celebrity Specials and Series 9 of Take Me Out will air in 2017 on ITV. Transmission will be confirmed at a later date.
