MTV star Stephen Bear has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2016.
After voting since Tuesday for a winner, the public chose Stephen Bear as the new winner of CBB.
The Ex On The Beach cast mate beat Frankie Grande, Aubrey O’Day, Marnie Simpson, Renee Graziano and Ricky Norwood to the top spot, with just 1% between the two top.
Speaking from the house before leaving, Bear sat on top of the Zebra and shouted: “I told you I’d win it.”
Walking out to a mixed crowd, Bear said: “I told ya, I told ya didn’t I?”
Speaking to Emma in his exit interview, Bear said he thought he would win because: “When you’re so positive you’ll win, I promise you.”
Bear continued to tell host Emma Willis: “I knew I was going to win it.”
Justifying the public’s reasons for choosing him as their winner, he said: “As you get to know me, why wouldn’t you pick me?
“I’m a nice guy.”
Emma also asked to talk about his controversial behaviour, telling him he “drove her up the wall” but admitted that he did win her eventually over.
On pushing people’s buttons, Bear said: “If I know I’ve upset someone I’ll leave them, I know my limits.”
Bear also spoke about annoying people in the house, telling Emma: “If someone’s upset at me making a pancake…”
On his intense relationship with Chloe: “I forgot I was in front of cameras, I wanted to save my girlfriend the heartache like I had done before. So split up with her.”
Bear concludes: “The biggest thing for me was seeing my mum, she deserves the best.”
The reality star had been a 12-1 outsider before the series started – but was hot favourite by the time of the final, with fans critical of his win after his reported bullying and aggression in the house.
Celebrity Big Brother will return in January 2017 on Channel 5.
