Susan Boyle is heading to America!
The 57-year-old singer is set to compete on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which is due to air on NBC in the winter.
The Champions edition will see past contestants and winners from the Got Talent franchises around the world come to compete on the same stage.
Simon Cowell will serve as a judge and executive producer. Howie Mandel, Mel B., and Heidi Klum will be back on the panel for the one-month spin-off.
“Simon was delighted Susan agreed to come back,” a show source told The Sun.
“I have always wanted to have a competition show for the very best of the best “Got Talent” acts from around the world,’ Simon said in a statement. “Since America’s Got Talent was where it all started, I’m absolutely delighted to be launching this on NBC.”
Boyle appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and shocked the world with the extraordinary voice. She would fall in the final, losing to dance act Diversity.
It is unclear at this time who else will be appearing on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. But reports suggest it will feature some winners from the US version as well.
America’s Got Talent: The Champions airs in the winter on NBC in the US and streams on Netflix in the UK.
