Tonight on The Great British Bake Off saw Marie Campbell become the second contestant to get the chop.
Marie was originally the bookies favourite to win the competition.
In week one Marie was chosen as the Star Baker by the judges for her excellent and sophisticated baking skills.
But Marie just couldn’t impress with her biscuits, coming bottom in the technical challenge, after an oven mishap left her with only four arlettes – half the amount requested by Hollywood.
Marie’s biscotti in the signature challenge were praised for their crunch, however Hollywood criticised her for the plain appearance of the biscuits, whilst Mary noticed that the gingerbroad was soft.
Her Bakery skills in week two meant she became the second contestant to leave, a surprise to some viewers.
However it was a good week for Ian Cumming, who was named Star Baker after impressing the judges with his showstopper macaroons and the aluminium contraption he made to bake a perfect shortbread cylinder.
