With the final of The Voice UK Kids approaching, it was time to confirm which artists would be singing for the title next weekend.
Saturday’s semifinal saw the remaining artists hoping to impress coaches Jessie J, Pixie Lott, Will.i.am and Danny Jones to earn a place in the final and get one step closer to that important win.
After all the acts had performed host Emma Willis returned to deliver the results.
First to decide was Pixie Lott and she had to choose between Chloe, Liam and Gracie-Jayne.
“Liam what you can do with your voice is crazy,” she said. “Chloe, now you’re believing in yourself it’s the most amazing thing to watch. Gracie-Jayne, you’ve come so far. Based on tonight’s performance, I have to go with Gracie-Jayne.”
Coach Jessie J was next up and she had to choose between her three artists of Amaree, Keira and Pheobie.
“You know when you got a festival and three of your favourite artists are playing at the same time, that’s what this is like. I take a lot from the beginning to now, the blinds, the battles and I think I have to go with the person who gave the most consistent performance tonight… Keira.”
Danny was next and had to choose between his three artists Conor, Joslyn and Sam.
“I just don’t know what to do. Every one is so amazingly talented. I asked them to make my decision hard and they’ve done that… I need to go with what I felt was the best performance tonight and that person was Sam.”
Last up was will.i.am and he had to choose between Raphael, David & Ammani and Lil Shan Shan.
“Every single one of you reminds me of some young version of myself. It’s like you guys are my kids and I only get to send one to college. My choice is going to be based on responsibility, I’m responsible to put a strong young female through and that’s Shan Shan.”
The Voice Kids UK will conclude next Saturday night with the live grand final on ITV.
