James Argent (Arg) has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from The Jump 2016.
Tonight saw the celebrities put into groups for the snow cross challenge, which has been made “longer, steer and far more demanding” for the new series.
Arg failed to impress on the snow cross and therefore faced the air jump.
The TOWIE star was beaten by Westlife member Brian McFadden, former EastEnders star Sid Owen and Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli in the air jump round.
Sid and Mark-Francis were unable to do the air jump live due to injuries sustained earlier on in the programme.
Arg only managed a disappointing height of 8.6m, while Brian made the highest jump at 9.41m.
He wrote: “So much support from My Family, Friends & all of you guys! #TheJump has been an amazing experience! Happy to come home to Essex in 1 piece!x.”
The show has faced recent controversy after Rebeca Adlington, Tina Hobley and Beth Tweedle have all left due to injuries.
Fans have called for the show to be axed after it’s been revealed that Beth will have surgery following her injuries.
One viewer wrote: “Terrible for Beth Tweddle to injure her back on The Jump after years as a competitive gymnast! Maybe it’s time for The Jump to stop now?
Another said: “#TheJump is ridiculous. Dear god, please cancel it before somebody gets killed. Axe, axe, axe!”
The Jump continues Sunday’s on Channel 4.
