Olympian Tom Daley has revealed he’s up for joining The Jump line up next year.
The diver has told The Sun that he’d be up for joining the Channel 4 format, even though there’s been so many injuries.
“I am an adrenalin junkie and I like the bob sleigh. I would like to join the winter Olympic team.
“Would I do The Jump? The Jump looks like the scariest show ever. It could be fun.”
Tom also revealed that his show Splash!, based on diving, had been “rested” by ITV, though it was previously reported it was axed due to low ratings and the show struggling to find celebrities to take part.
He said: “I loved Splash. I had so much fun doing that and it was difficult doing it in the run up to the Olympics and doing ten Saturday night shows as it started getting into competition season. The show has been rested.”
This years series of The Jump already has all celebrity faces confirmed with Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews, TOWIE’s Lydia Bright, X Factor singer Jake Quickenden, model Caprice Bourret and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith taking part.
Joining them will be Football player Robbie Fowler, Big Brother winner Josie Gibson, Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones, rugby player Jason Robinson and comic and TV host Mark Dolan.
Also on the line up are rugby player Gareth Thomas, Paralympic medallist Kadeena Cox, retired pro cyclist Bradley Wiggins plus model Vogue Williams and Camilla Parker Bowles’ niece Emma Parker Bowles.
The Jump 2017 airs Sunday nights on Channel 4 from February 5.
