ITV2 reality series The Ibiza Weekender is BACK, returning to our screens with a special XXL 90 minutes episode.
The new series will see reps Jordan and Deano return, plus Imogen and newbie from the previous series David all back in the sunshine for six new episodes.
If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, it will also see Love Island favourite Rykard join the villas to take young Brits on a weekend they’ll never forget.
The Love Island star will join the fellow reps on the ITV 2 show, with a source revealing: “Rykard is keen to carve out a career in the public eye so was desperate to land another TV show.
“He has seen the likes of Jordan Davies and Gaz Beadle and sees them as a blueprint of how to make it a success.”
The show’s exec producer Gyles Neville said: “It’s great to be back with the Weekender brand for an extended summer of fun.
Not only is the rig setup perfect for unearthing those true seminal holiday moments but also for revealing the humour and lightness of great characters as we welcome back some familiar faces along with some new ones too.”
The new series will also see single Jordan return, after his explosive relationship with Megan McKenna took over the last series of the Weekender.
Jordan quit the last series early, after deciding to focus on his relationship.
Despite making the coveted head rep position, he told the reps he had to leave.
“She’s back home, I’m out here, it’s not working. Even though I’m smashing this head rep role and I’d love to keep on it, I have to decide which one I want more.
So I thought I’d call another and my final team meeting.”
The new series will kick off with IbizaWeekender XXL: a 90 min special, this February on ITV2.
