Jennifer Hudson looks set to be the first female coach to win The Voice UK as her act Mo Adeniran remains the hot favourite to win the competition, according to the bookies.
The latest odds have Mo’s chances of taking the crown at 7/2 from 5/1 a few weeks ago. All this is before this weekend’s live knockout rounds, which will see Jennifer’s live show lineup revealed.
“Twenty-two hopefuls survived the battle rounds, but it is all about Mo who is the firm 7/2 favourite having shortened in from 5/1 when he saw off Diamond in their battle,” BoyleSports spokeswoman Aoife Heffron said.
David Jackson (also from Team JHud) comes in at 6/1 with Tim Gallagher at 8/1. Gavin’s best hope for a win is with Sarah Morgan at 9/1 odds and Tom’s best shot is with Victoria at 10/1.
It’s not good news for Team Will as not of his acts are in the top five to win with the bookies.
The Voice continues this weekend with the live knockouts with Jennifer and Gavin on Saturday and Sunday respectively on ITV.
