The ratings competition between The Voice UK and Let It Shine has switched around since last weeks launch episodes.
The Voice UK seems to have come up on top too, after a slightly wavy start.
However both shows saw a drop in the number of luve viewers since last week.
Last week, Let It Shine saw 6.3 million viewers tune into the Gary Barlow judges singing competition on Saturday but this week managed only 5.3 million, with a peak audience of 5.7 million towards 8pm.
The Voice UK made its debut on ITV last week too, with the opening being its least watched launch to date.
Six million viewers on average tuned in for the first show last weekend, with numbers dropping to 5.5 million for this weekend’s second episode, which itself hit a peak of 6.3 million.
So whilst the ITV show did better… It’s still not great news for the chair spinning show.
will.i.am. has praised ITV for making The Voice UK exciting again, saying “after last year, I was bored”.
The Voice UK and Let It Shine continue on ITV and BBC One respectively on Saturday Night.
